Could you please present yourself and your company in your own words for our readers?
The idea came about early 2015, simply due to the lack of places to get a good quality haircut in a masculine environment at a reasonable price.
Were you always interested in grooming?
Grooming myself yes, did I ever think I would start my business in grooming? Not really
How would you define your brand’s style?
Old meets new is what people say, vintage retro barbershop with modern twist. Our brand is distinctly British, even the name chaps is British slang for a suave gentleman
Where do you get your inspiration?
Inspired by the growing European trend for barbershops, since gone are the days that cool aficionados go to a unisex salons.
What is the most challenging part of setting up a grooming business in Dubai?
Chasing a location, probably common wherever you set up but Dubai is very challenging.
What kind of products do you use for your treatments?
Our best sellers are Gentlemans Tonic and V76. Fantastic high quality products.
What is, in your opinion, the best grooming regime for men’s beards and hair in Dubai?
The grooming regime, is often decided by the individual, however here are a few must Do’s by Chaps barber Jay Mclintock
For men with a beard,

How important is social media in your communication strategy?
Extremely important. Social media is the forefront of our marketing at the moment and will undoubtedly continue to be for 2016.
